The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is the top touring car competition, where only Porsche 's driving. The races are driven into the support of the Formula 1 , they are following the GP2 and Formula 1 driving. It is organized by Porsche . The Porsche Supercup was established in 1993 founded. It is similar to the DTM . There are 15 teams with two riders. This class is the merged version of the Carrera different national championships around the world, including Germany and Asia.
The car has a water-cooled 6-cylinder 3598cc (3.6L) Porsche Boxer engine with 400 horsepower and 400Nm of torque. There are aluminum Brembo brakes, with a diameter of 380mm. The car is of sheet steel with carbon bumpers. Michelin supplies the tires, which are the same for all teams, they should not be warmed up for the race or treated with a chemical.
